Kenya premier league teams under the banner KPL caucus has today issued a press briefing declining to participate in the care taker committee sanctioned league begining this season.
Led by Gor Mahia FC acting CEO Raymond Oruo, the clubs have pointed at several challenges they have been facing including, dwindling of soccer standards in the country owing to FIFA ban on Kenya.
The caretaker committee led retired Justice Harun Ringera was instituted by sports CS Amb. Amina Mohamed to oversee football activities pending corruption investigation on FKF chairman Nick Mwendwa.
With the new premier league season set to kick off next month, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold for the beautiful game in Kenya.
